In November 2019, a dairy purchased a portion of the 25,000-acre Boardman Tree Farm in order to expand its operations. Now, an agricultural company from Washington has purchased the remaining portion of the land in order to irrigate crops like potatoes. The Boardman Tree Farm is a distinctive feature that can be found in the scenery of the Columbia Gorge.
